Why We Built This
I'm Rachel, a homeschool mom who has been in the trenches of curriculum shopping. If you've ever spent hundreds of dollars on a program your child tried for two weeks and hated, you know exactly why I built this. Over the years I found myself wishing there was somewhere I could find used curriculum locally — so I could try things without the full price tag, and without paying shipping on top of it. I wanted to give a curriculum a second chance before committing to it brand new. And when something didn't work, I wanted to be able to pass it on to another family who might love it instead of watching it collect dust on my shelf. That place didn't exist. So I built it.
What We're Building
The Curriculum Exchange is a peer-to-peer marketplace where homeschool families can buy, sell, and trade curriculum directly with each other — no middleman, no commission taken from your sale, no barriers. Just families helping families make the most of their resources. We believe curriculum is too expensive to only use once. Give curriculum a second home. Save resources. Build community.
Meet The Founder
Rachel Chavez
Rachel started The Curriculum Exchange after years of searching for an easier, more affordable way to buy and sell homeschool curriculum. As a homeschool mom herself, she built the community she wished had existed from the start.
